Ram Dass program in Durham June 19th 7PM

ram_dassRam Dass, one of America’s most beloved spiritual figures, has made his mark on the world by teaching the path of the heart and promoting service in the areas of socially-conscious business practices and care for the dying. Ram Dass first went to India in 1967. He was still Dr. Richard Alpert, an eminent Harvard psychologist and psychedelic pioneer with Dr.Timothy Leary.

A program with Ram Dass June 19th in Durham will start at 7pm. We will begin with the new 20 minute movie by Owen Bush, about Ram Dass’s life from the writing of Be Here Now till the writing of his new book Be Love Now. Rameshwar Das, Ram Dass friend and the co-author of Be Love Now will fly here from New York to speak and share with us. Ram Dass will speak to us from his home in Maui via an online session with Skype.
